About Us
Millions of families across the nation have shopped at and enjoyed the huge variety and low prices Service Merchandise Catalog Show Rooms offered them for decades.
The original chain of Service merchandise stores was founded by the Zimmerman Family
in 1934 and at its peak, 400+ stores provided $4 Billion Dollars worth of fine jewelry and gifts annually to loyal customers spread out across 37 states.
Eventually the catalog showroom concept yielded to the big box super discounters and Service Merchandise was forced to close all of their retail stores. However, a few years ago Raymond Zimmerman decided to revive the long standing tradition of Customer Service & "Quality Merchandise by creating an all new online only web store - ServiceMerchandise.com
